Our Team
Our SAR Dog handlers learn how to give annual routine vaccinations, first aid and medical care to their four legged colleagues.
Regular instructions are given annually under supervision of German Vet and certified training examiner Mrs. Daniela Neika.
Spreading reward posters alongside a trail to motivate local people to participate in a search mission is one of our routine tasks.
This has been proven to be very effective. Many cases of missing were solved due to the help of locals who know the area best.

If you want to visit SARDOGS NEPAL and meet our Junior Staff and our SAR Dogs, this is OUR LOCATION:
The Middim Khola Resort and the SARDOGS Nepal Academy are located exactly in the Geographic Middle of Nepal at
Google Map:
This map shows the entire land mass of Nepal. The lines that lead northwards seem shorter due to that a map is flat and 2 dimensional. In reality they traverse up and down of every gorge and foothill up to the highest mountain on our planet.
This may be THE PLACE for you and your friends to spend some time there to follow a Tai Chi Course or do some research as a bird watcher, a butterfly fan, a herbalist, an orchid lover or just take daily walks into the surrounding forest hills to see breath taking views of Mount Manaslu and the mighty Annapurna Range. Delicious local food and folk dance events performed by the local farmer women and children for a small donation for their village development committee will make your heart ache when you have to leave again..
Visiting us while mountain biking from Pokhara to the resort is a daring adventure too; the biking route leads from SISUWA at the Begnas Lake over a steep pass to Karaputar and then through the dense hill forest upward from Laxmi Bazaar. Follow it and come out at the riverside exactly in Shyauli Bazaar for dinner in our lodge. Book in time! Contact us!
The profit from the Resorts income goes entirely to SARDOGS Nepal; the only Search & Rescue Dog Squad for Disaster Response and missing people in Nepal. Our Academy staff actually owns the resort and visitors can even become a honorable members of the SAR Dog Squad against the pledge for some regular small donation.
