Tina is exactly 1 year and one month old now in January 2011; born at our base from a litter between Springer Spaniels Helga and Dunston. Tina and her handler Bhim have just started basic obedience training together.

Ash Bahadur Gurung
We knew Ash Bahadur already when he was only a 3 years old toddler. His nickname is Aite because he was born on a Sunday (Nepalese Aitebar). He is the first and only son of the farmer Kul Bahadur Gurung amongst 3 elder daughters in Pahire Ward No.9. which is a beautiful hamlet just 10 minutes walk away from the Sukumbhashi Settlement of Shyauli Bazaar.

Gau Prasad belongs to the first batch of new junior SAR Dog handler's students who were recruited in October 2009 right after the Tihar Festival. After passing SLC some 7 years ago he was working as a seasonal trekking guide for almost 6 years with SISNE ROVER Trekking Agency in Pokhara, following the footsteps of his father who is a senior mountain trekking guide.
