Here we present our newest and youngest student Ubaraj Tamang , age 18, with his training partner
and future SAR dog Tina, an one year old female English Springer Spaniel.
Ubaraj Tamang is just starting up. he is with our Academy snce November 2010.
Ubaraj is born and grown up in the village Shyauli Bazaar/Lamjung where our Academy operates.
His father Khum Bahadur was already a staff member of our previous organization
Himalaya Rescue Dog Squad Nepal (HRDSN) for over 16 years.
In December 2010, HRDSN Staff and the SAR Dog Squad leaders unanimously decided to change the name
of thei rorganization into SARDOGS NEPAL Academy. Khum Bahadur joined in as a senior logistic officer.
He has 3 sons and a grown up daughter.
Co-incidentally his second son Ubaraj just finished Government School and reached the age
where he finally could follow his childhood dream to become a SAR Worker too.
There are half a dozen more youngsters living in Shyauli Bazaar and the surrounding hamlets and villages
who have the same dream than Ubaraj.As soon as they will finish their school or college they desire to have
that dream job of living and venturing out doors with their SAR Dog squad; an interesting and rewarding job tn their future:
Helping distressed people in times of need.
